GNOME memory bloat reduction!

In case you have some spare time to donate, you can help GNOME reduce its memory bloat! And in recognition for this donation you can also pick some handful bounties. Link to the MemoryReduction wiki. As quoted at the site,

The plan is to reduce the amount of memory that Gnome applications consume. Gnome is barely usable on a machine with 128 MB of RAM; contrast this with Windows XP, which is very snappy on such a configuration.
